I am currently conducting research to develop an image information analysis technique to predict cell quality. I think that objective quantification and prediction of cell quality can be realized with a new technology such as artificial intelligence to evaluate cell quality. I want to apply such an image analysis technology to pathological diagnosis, streamlining drug discovery, early interventions for diseases and pre-disease states, individualized treatment, and individualized preventive medicine for which expectations have increased recently. After accumulating experiences in these studies, I want to become an active researcher who bridges between medicine and other academic fields and explores new values. I expect that the CIBoG program will enable me to combine my pharmacological expertise with knowledge in informatics, medical engineering, and biomedical sciences as well as a sense of globalism. In the future, I would like to be a bridge between medical facilities and companies in various fields by using medical big data and to discover new values to help advance medicine.
