My current research aims to find dynamic changes in disease models of the brain by visualizing brain cells (neurons and glial cells) using a fluorescence method and observing them under a two-photon microscope. The goal is to elucidate the pathogenesis of diseases. In the future, I want to conduct research to elucidate the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorder for which no cure is currently available and to develop a treatment for the disease. I also want to contribute to elucidating the physiological functions of microglial cells, a kind of glial cell.
