Current research:
Research topic: Development of a program for early detection of lymphedema after breast cancer surgery
Lymphedema after lymph node dissection for breast cancer significantly affects the quality of life of patients and is difficult to cure. Therefore, early intervention and medical care are important.
Future goals:
Undoubtedly, nursing care in clinical settings has considerable importance. On the other hand, long-term studies involving patients are also essential to increase the effectiveness of nursing care. However, there are few means to apply the outcomes of such studies to actual patient care. I would like to advance nursing science to fulfill the expectations of current and future patients.
